When he signed onto the Titanic he gave his address as Obelisk Rd, Southampton (elsewhere recorded as Woolston, Hampshire). His sister, Mrs H. McLaren was a stewardess on the ship. Mr Allsop died in the sinking, his body, if recovered, was never identified. Buried beneath the waves of the Atlantic ocean. Titanic disaster victim. There is a Cenotaph (non burial tribute monument) for him at St. Mary's Churchyard, Tisisngton. Frank had worked for many wealthy families as a footman and butler. He worked on the Olympic before joining the Titanic as a Steward. In 1904 he married Elizabeth Purdue, and they had a daughter named Nellie who was born October 5 1904. He perished in the sinking of the Titanic.
