James Steven Allsop, 66, of Carver, born in Quincy, passed away on August 4, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Allsop of 43 years; and his daughter, Michelle Allsop of Carver. He leaves behind his sister, Barbara Oliver of Weymouth. He was the brother of the late Earl and Ronald Allsop. He was the loving uncle to 11 nieces and nephews in Mass., and Maine. He had been a resident of Carver for the last 39 years. James had been a precision sheet metal worker for many years, but was retired. He enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking and was an avid Patriots fan. He enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, as he always enjoyed being near the ocean. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, August 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. (Rte. 58), Carver, with a service to follow at 6 p.m. The Patriot Ledger Quincy, Massachusetts 8 August 2015
