John and Harriet Cottam had six children to my knowledge Ruby 1885, Cyril 1887, died 21-8-1909, Roy 1888, Leslie 1890, and Dudley C 1891, and Raymond c.1898. - Dudley married Vera Pope, he had a son Fred who married Verlas ? now Mooney his widow they live at Broadbeach have spoken to Verlas, their daughter Lesley Allsop married Bill Picken the son of the famous trotting driver Bill Picken, bill and Lesley live at Rosehill and still train horses. Ruby who married Bill Cornwell had a son David who married a Brittle, their son John Brittle and his wife Jean live at 32 Kokoda Ores, Beacon Hill ( 02 9481 9164 ) they have all the Allsop photos and a family bible so I have been told by Verlas, rang them once but from up here things are a bit difficult.. Leslie 1890 had a son Dr. John Allsop of 57 Ocean St. Woollhara rang him once acknowledged who I was but thats all said he had been contacted by others on family history - believe there was record a William who went to England with Lord ? he married 1880in /1890 1880 .
