Fatal Fall
Telegraph linesman Reginald Percy Allsop (52) sustained fatal injuries when he fell from a telephone Pole on the north side of the Murray bridge at Pinjarra on Monday.
With other men Allsop was engaged in alterations to the overhead wires when his safety belt broke and precipitated him about 24 ft to the ground. He
landed on the back of his shoulders, and was conveyed in the ambulance to Murray Hos pital, where his name was placed on the danger lift. He died in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Funeral takes place at Karrakatta today.
Deceased was a married man residing at Mt Lawley. He leaves a widow, two sons and a grand-daughter.
