UK Vital Records Update

Update to the Research Archive: UK Birth, Death and Marriage index updated extract now available.

We are pleased to announce that a data extract covering all variants of the Allsopp surname from the UK Birth, Death and Marriage index as published by FreeBMD are now accessible in the Research Archive. 

FreeBMD is a volunteer-driven project aimed at transcribing the Civil Registration index of births, marriages, and deaths for England and Wales. The project provides free online access to these transcribed records, making it a valuable resource for genealogical research. The records cover the period from 1837 to 1997, and the database is continually updated by dedicated volunteers. Last update 21 Dec 2024.
